Updated: July 2025

Due to our bike partner Stages Cycling ceasing operations in 2024 we have been forced to assess the future of the LES MILLS Virtual Bike. Without Stages and with the limitations of the aging tech platform built into their bikes, we have considered various options and ultimately determined that we can no longer support the current content experience.

This FAQ outlines what this means for your subscription, device, and support options.

I have a LES MILLS Virtual Bike, what does this mean for me?

We are now initiating phased changes to the product with an ultimate shut down date at the end of 2028.

  • No additional content updates will be supplied to the platform
  • The content that is currently available for all customers with an active subscription, will remain available until the end of 2028
  • All current subscriptions will automatically be extended (without charge) so that the content will be available on your bike until the shutdown date

Here’s what you need to do:

  • You do not to do anything at this point in time. Les Mills will contact you prior to the shutdown date to communicate any further action required.

Can I renew or activate a new subscription?

Unfortunately, we are unable to activate new or renewed subscriptions to the LES MILLS Virtual Bike content.  Devices that were inactive with no current subscription are no longer supported andcannot be reactivated.

I bought a LES MILLS Virtual Bike second hand; can I transfer the content subscription?

Yes, you can transfer the existing content subscription account on the LES MILLS Virtual Bike to your details. To transfer the content subscription, please submit a support request via our Freshdesk portal: ? https://lesmillsvirtualapp.freshdesk.com/en/support/home

Please note, we are unable to activate new or renewed subscriptions to the LES MILLS Virtual Bike content if it was not active at the time we commenced the phased shutdown.

What support is available if I am experiencing hardware issues?

If your Virtual Bike hardware (including the console/tablet) is no longer functioning, please contactPrecor customer service, who assumed responsibility for Stages equipment support when Stages ceased operations in 2024. They can be contacted atsupport@precor.com

Please note:

  • Precor can assist with hardware functionality only but if the console/tablet is broken beyond repair, can no longer be removed and replaced
  • If you are experiencing issues with the LES MILLS Virtual Bike application, accessing content or content playback issues, we have limited ability to provide troubleshooting or technical support due to the aging technical platform. Please contact your local Les Mills representative or visit our support portal.

What should I do if I’m experiencing issues with content access or delivery?

Unfortunately, Les Mills has limited ability to provide troubleshooting or technical support due to the aging technical platform. Please submit a support request with details of your issue and we’ll advise if we can help, for example, if the issue is app-related, we can provide instructions to re-install the app (if you need to use a technician, this will be at your cost).

Please contact your local Les Mills representative or visit our support portal.

Why are these changes happening?

We are implementing a transition plan to shut down the LES MILLS Virtual Bike due to our bike partner Stages Cycling ceasing operations in 2024. Without Stages and with the limitations of the aging tech platform built into their bikes, we have considered various options and ultimately determined that we can no longer support the current LES MILLS Virtual Bike experience.

Will I be notified of future changes?

Yes. Les Mills will continue to communicate key milestones and reminders as we approach the final shutdown date ofDecember 31, 2028.

What will happen to my LES MILLS Virtual Bike on December 31, 2028?

After December 31, 2028, Les Mills will shut down the internal infrastructure supporting the LES MILLS Virtual Bike application - any device still connected to Wi-Fi at that time will have its subscriptionautomatically terminatedand there will no longer be any content available to be used on the bike. The console/tablet will no longer be functional.

What do I need to do right now?

If your LES MILLS Virtual Bike is online you do not need to do anything, you will be able to receive the final content update, and your subscription will be active until December 2028.

If your LES MILLS Virtual Bike is not online, please connect to the Wi-Fi so we can make the final content update, and your subscription will be active until December 2028.
