We support Virtual setups that use an Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch or 10.5 inch display with minimum 512GB storage, using an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (which will handle the content scaling as needed, and can only support up to 1080p) and EDID emulator with audio extraction. Please note that we do not support setups using any other brand of AV adaptor OR use of Apple TV. If you need further clarification around this please see the attached Les Mills Virtual AV Guide.
AV requirements: External Display (projector, TV, monitor, LED screen, no larger than 5.5m wide), iPad (iPad pro 512GB minimum), Apple USB-C Digital Multiport AV Adapter, Apple USB-A to Ethernet Adapter, EDID emulator with audio extraction, HDMI cables x2, audio cable, Apple iPad power adapter (30W), strain relief for the Apple adapter, dedicated router.
Steps:
1a. Connect active HDMI cable to the external display and EDID emulator
1b. Connect short HDMI cable into the EDID emulator and Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
1c. Connect audio cable from the EDID emulator to the sound system
1d. Connect the Apple iPad Pro power adapter (30W) to the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
1e. Connect Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter into the iPad Pro (ensure strain relief)
1f. Connect Apple USB-A to ethernet adapter to Apple USB- C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
1g. Connect Cat5 network cable from the Apple USB-A to ethernet adapter to the dedicated router
1h. Connect Cat5 network cable from the projector to the dedicated router
1i. Power ON the iPad Pro
1j. Power ON the external display and select the correct source input for the HDMI cable
At this stage the external display should be mirroring the iPad desktop icons
1k. Tap to open the Les Mills Virtual App
